Understanding Bids and Choosing a Provider
When you post a request, providers in your area will start sending bids. Here's what to expect and how to pick the right one.
What's in a bid
Every bid includes the provider's price for the service, estimated duration, a personal message explaining their approach, and portfolio photos of their work. Some providers will also note their experience level and any specialties relevant to your request.
How to compare
You can view all your bids in one place from your request page. There's no limit to how many bids you can receive, and you're never pressured to pick one quickly. Take your time and look through portfolios, read their messages, and check ratings from other clients.
A few things worth paying attention to: how closely their portfolio matches the look you want, their rating and number of completed bookings, how detailed their message is, and whether their price fits your budget.
Accepting a bid
When you find the right fit, tap "Accept" on their bid. You'll be taken to the payment screen to place a deposit and confirm the booking. Once confirmed, a conversation opens between you and your provider so you can coordinate any last details.
What about the other bids?
Once you accept a bid, the other providers are automatically notified that the request has been filled. You don't need to decline each one individually.
Can I ask questions before accepting?
Yes. Once a provider places a bid, you can message them directly to ask about their process, request more portfolio photos, or clarify anything before committing.
